The very basic role of roleplay etiquette. Don't do it, guys.
• THIS IS AN ORIGINAL SITE
Any characters that we feel have been ripped off a popular work, or appear to be taken from another roleplayer, will be outright denied. We also aren't that keen on any Mary or Gary Stu's, so it'd be nice if none of those were made as well.
›› on faceclaims. We use illustrated claims here, from any form of animation, comic, or original work (so long as you have permission!) anywhere in any style. So long as it's not a photo, we're pretty OK with it.
• THERE WILL BE VIOLENCE
And other things less savoury. Please keep in mind, however, that Proboards has a TOS and it's a good idea to keep to it. Try not to be excessively descriptive - keep things PG13, and if it needs to be over that (in any way what so ever, including sexual) take it elsewhere. We don't want our hard work to get deleted!
• BE CIVIL AND OPEN MINDED
If you harass, attack or flame another member, be prepared to be banned. Try to get along with other people even if you don't exactly see eye to eye.
• YAOI? YURI? SLASH?
We are not a yaoi/yuri exclusive site! We believe these are loaded words and give people the wrong idea. We do, however, encourage people to feel comfortable about playing slash. We're not going to ask for 'x girls for every x boys'. We're not going to complain about 'too much of x-sexuality, not enough of y-sexuality'.
›› if slash or romance is not your thing you CAN make asexual, heterosexual, and other -sexual characters! Your character can want to fuck the moon for all we care, we're not going to judge.
• WORDCOUNT?
There is none! Just try to give your partners something to work with, OK?
• ACTIVITY GUIDELINES
If you have not logged in to your account in three weeks without notice your character will be placed in the archive. If you have not posted in a month without notice of leave, your claim will be forfeit and your account deleted. This is because we are aware there are people who make characters and then promptly leave without telling anyone, whether it be due to loss of interest or what have you, and we do not want things like canons or claims to be tied up with these inactive characters.
