Unaffiliated. One faulty roller coaster cost Kūgo his athletically conditioned arms and legs, but cybernetics helped him recover them-- somewhat. Sections of his torso, arms and legs are mechanical, but that information, along with details of the accident, are kept as a secret. Needless to say, Kūgo went from excelling at sports to, well, excelling even more at sports.
PERSONALITY NOTES:
Like his appearance suggests, Kūgo is the happy-go-lucky sort of guy. Childlike in most aspects he is cheerful and energetic, carefree and playful. One will seldom see him sulking or hanging his head. He is a creature of childish honesty, of immature blitheness, of babyish obliviousness brought as a result of a shallow, simple view of the world around him. Kūgo is your ever optimistic moron, the person you can always look to for a joke or a hug, the person you can run to with a heavy heart for an emotionally lifting chat or an energetic pep talk. All in all Kūgo encompasses feelings of compassion and cheery uplifting spirits. Understanding and kindhearted, he is undoubtedly nothing by smiles-for-miles.
Packaged with his personality is the ability to persuade others with a strong yet odd sense of charisma and perception. Kūgo can tell, with painful accuracy, when someone is feeling down or when they're in a bit of a fix. He can tell if a person is smiling with their eyes or lying with their teeth. Stubborn as he is, Kūgo is the sort who would never ever give up, and that, coupled with his unrelenting charisma, makes him to be one of the most annoying and persuasive individuals you can ever meet.
Like many with his cheery personality, Kūgo is known for his exuberant, brash, inattentive nature. He is heedless to formality or social standings and can be perceived, almost too often, as a rude child with no respect for his elders. As a boy, no, as a 'man' (as he puts it), Kūgo sees it as his duty to be notorious for being picky and covertly perverted. He tends to 'rate' women as he passes them in a nonchalant and obnoxiously immature manner and is relatively simple, clumsy, and slow to understand a principle or situation.
He is mischievous and playful, having developed a jealous craving for acknowledgement in his youth. In reality Kūgo is a most selfish creature, a sneaky type of man whose low regards and respect for people of higher standing has proven to be most troublesome. Yet under his layers of immaturity, jealousy, and blitheness lies a passionate heart of gold. Kūgo is one to love, protect, understand, and shows empathy to those who need it. He has a knack of connecting and bonding with others, and his simple want to make friends and form relationships undermine his otherwise pointed flaws.
MISCELLANEOUS FOOTNOTES:
His catchphrase is "Hanyaa~?", which he uses when expressing surprise or boredom. It's actually quite hard to tell between the two.
Among the clubs he has joined, Kūgo tends to favor the Aikido, Kendo, Karate, Boxing and Swimming clubs the most. Though he likes to say he's 'totally unbiased'.
