Haru is a pretty rash person, and prefers to be alone. However, there are some people who can break past his shell of protectiveness and see that he's really not a bad guy. He's strong and dependable, as sturdy as a boulder. Obviously he's not the snuggle bear sleepover type, but he does enjoy an occasional outing with a friend.

Because of his intimidating exterior, not many people feel like they should befriend Haru. A seemingly eternal scowl plastered onto his face and a glare that could turn fire cold, he's not really the "friend" type. If you don't know him very well, he may seem to be miserable and rude, but it's just his personality. Many people also believe he is crazy because he prefers to walk around at night or during very gloomy and/or rainy weather. He also speaks, hums, or whistles quietly to himself when he's bored, giving him a creepy vibe.

As far as love goes, Haru doesn't particularly believe in it. The whole concept is just a mystery to him, chemical reactions or fantasy, he has no clue. He will most likely fall in love over a long period of time, first thinking it friendship and then thinking deeper. He doesn't like to think about the future, because he believes that being too eager may cause naive actions and unwanted outcomes. But if one were to determine his sexual preference, he would most likely be pansexual, because he doesn't look at gender or appearance, he looks at personality and who he genuinely likes being around. Haru is definitely not a shallow guy, and is relatively deep. He calls himself asexual because he doesn't think that anyone needs a specific person for happiness. One downfall of his disbelief in love is that he can turn into a bit of a player and will use his looks if he feels the need to fulfill a void in his life, and will dispose of people like garbage without a second look.

Making enemies is easy for Haru. Old loves, the other yakuza members, or just friends gone sour. He may be a good friend, but some people can't get past his general douchebaggy-ness and his cold, harsh exterior self. Making enemies is easy for him, but making friends is especially difficult.

SO SEVERAL WEEKS ON I would like to build on my 'Yamikitsune boys need to stick together!' statement. Takumi is kind of a people person, but since his family is so fixaetd on hierarchy, he gets kind of nervous around people he sees to be 'above' him in the social ladder. I think he'd look up to Haru because of that, and the fact that he's older and therefore insanely cool in teenager-eyes would only help solidify that. Basically I think Takumi would be like this bad-mouthed loyal little puppy, or something. idk i am not good at plots
