Itsuki isn't exactly a social butterfly, but that doesn't mean he's a lonely introvert either - in fact he can be quite outgoing. He was, once upon a time, determined to know everybody and to do everything; and even though those priorities changed after the accident, he should still have a few connections around. As a friend Itsuki doesn't really do much. He kind of just hangs around, is willing to support any stupid shenanigans a 20-something could come up with, and just generally exist if anyone is in need of a partner with which to do things. He doesn't talk much about himself anymore, nor does he feel as comfortable getting close to people as he used to, but still, he isn't exactly a loner.

Itsuki only has one thing on his mind, and surprisingly, it isn't what is on the minds of most twenty year old boys. No, he is going to get his degree, then start his doctorate, and really anything else is a side thought. It's not that he's some kind of work-a-holic - because he very definitely isn't - but rather that if someone is interested him they're going to have to work pretty hard to even be noticed. On his side, Itsuki isn't exactly an open-feelings kind of person, so any emotions are likely to be very covered up and show themselves only in extreme circumstances.

I can't really see Itsuki having any outright enemies - he frankly doesn't involve himself enough with people he doesn't already know. Maybe there could be some family members of his friends who aren't too fond of him - or even just some strangers who harbor some kind of prejudice against a kid who was involved in a drink-driving accident at the age of sixteen. Be imaginative, I guess?

MARUMARU ITSUKI – ABE BAYOU

Mother Father Duck & Duckling relationship- I think it’s because Itsuki and Bayou both have bluish hair that I thought of that. Well, anyways I was thinking maybe they could just have some sort of relationship where they’re both just there with casual convos- as you said, Itsuki is just kind of there for a person and since Bayou has problems being empathetic but really wants to make people happy, the least she can do to show concern is to just sit by their side until her dense brain finds the right words/actions, so she is kind of just there for someone as well.

They’re both optimistic and determined in their own ways, and I think she’d be aspired by him and his goals. Bayou isn’t all that sympathetic but he is, so maybe he can feel pity for her when she always tries hard but can never achieve it but that would all depend on what Itsuki thinks of it. I think Bayou would probably try to do meaningful things for people just because she wants them to be happy with her, or to be noticed for her efforts or something, and she likes the attention and love. For some reason, I can imagine her following Itsuki around like just ‘cause she’s attached to people and all.

I dunno; what do you think? They’re just some ideas and throw anything at me.
