PERSONALITY NOTES:
If people were to have defining characteristics, Takumi's would be his pride. Although the fifth and youngest child in his family, he has grown with the desire to stand on his own and not rely on his siblings for help. Some could say this borders arrogance - and they'd be right, because if someone questions him, or insinuates that he can't do something, that is exactly how he will react.
That being said, Takumi is quite open-minded, provided you're not trying to prove him wrong. In addition he is loyal, or at least tries to be, and even though many consider him to be naive, he has the courage (or perhaps youthful idiocy is a better way to put it) to step out in to the world. However, this has lead to his being rather cynical, and as a result he has difficulty trusting others.
As with many things he goes after his schoolwork with good intentions, but very few things seem to be able to capture his attention. Aside from visual art, there is little that can keep him focused - which leads to an aimless youth with a temper, and all sorts of pent up frustration at the apparent uselessness of his life.
