The Okubos are a humble household. He had been raised by hard working parents who encouraged him to have a positive outlook and sunny disposition. They also were the reason to why Moeta became studious enough to get accepted into 'Todai'. He's all around friendly and social, making him easy to get close to.
Most likely because of the lack of things he was allowed to have as a child, Moeta is very possessive. He is also very stubborn when it comes to changing his view points.
