Though most people probably wouldn't believe it, Aki is actually a male. And, although he looks like a young teen, he's twenty-two.

He works at the Kaminari Nightclub. Most of the customers who frequent the club believe that he's female--if people knew there was a cross-dresser working there, it may draw too much attention after all. When he's not at the club, he's a full-time 'wife'.
AFFILIATION:
His life partner lost his site a year and a half ago, and had to get replacement eyes. But their health insurance didn't cover all of it, so they had to go to Aoikazuchi Kai and beg for a loan. So they aren't really members of the gang, but they're affiliated in the sense that they owe them big bucks and are still working hard to pay them back. In reality, though, they're just civilians.
PERSONALITY NOTES:
The best way to describe Aki would be to call him a 50's housewife. He's incredibly happy and accepting, always ready to do anything for others, and looks out for the people that he loves. He's a real go-getter, and always puts one hundred percent effort into what he does. Even though he's often around members of the yakuza, he's nothing but kind to them. Not much of anything scares him. Although he's such a positive, charismatic person, he can be a bit too much. A lot of people avoid talking to him because they dislike the sheer volumes of happy he contains. He often gets so caught up in what he wants to do that he forgets to ask permission and sort of commands that things happen on accident. Think nothing of it, though--if you call him out on it, he'll quickly apologize even if he does still insist on doing what he wants in a really positive way.
