OCCUPATION:
Botanist // Specializes in Aroma Therapy; Self-Proclaimed Therapist. Though only an minor in psychology while a double major in botanical science and genetic science, Yuu still strives to act as both a botanist and a therapist. She works at a small flower arrangement-and-design shop with an aroma therapy room in the back.

She does train using kendo swords in a rather ancient dojo with her grandfather when she has time, but one could hardly call it an occupation seeing as she receives no money for her training even when it consists of helping younger students.

AFFILIATION:
Though she rarely says anything when not around its members, Yuu supports Yamikitsune Kai and will sometimes act in it when required to. Though one wouldn't expect much from a flower salewoman, she's actually incredibly vicious when called to be and seems to have little trouble putting metal into someone who dares threaten her friends or those she considers family.

PERSONALITY NOTES:
Positives:
Empathetic Possibly one of her best attributes as a person, Yuu is incredibly empathetic capable of feeling what others feel and understanding where they are coming from with a surprising accuracy. She's often very good at giving advice on a situation or just being there for someone when they need it the most. If someone wishes to talk, she will almost always drop what she is doing and try and help them sort out their problems. She loves to bring a smile to someone's face especially when they have figured something out, but even going beyond that, just bringing a smile to a child's face when handing over a piece of free candy often makes her bubbly and happy inside. That being said, when someone is in a consistently bad mood, and that person proves to be completely inconsolable, Yuu is prone to becoming stressed for long periods of time dragging out so far as to make her physically sick if that person is close enough to her. Possibly because she is aware of this attribute in herself, Yuu makes it a point to keep people at a distance even when she is empathizing with them least she get caught up too much in their problems and forget about her own. She hates it, really, and wishes that she didn't have to feel distant at times, but she is also very protective of herself first and foremost at the end of it all.

Gentle Both her soft touch and quiet positive words often put people at ease around Yuu. She can be incredibly gentle at times often pacifying frantic people around her and becoming a firm but not hard pillar for others to lean on. Her gestures and general peaceful attributes make her especially good with children whom she has quite a soft spot. Her gentleness also comes in handy when dealing with flowers as she is both quick to arrange but gentle as not to break them.

Docile Yuu is relatively docile more often than not. She wouldn't harm a fly as long as that fly didn't happen to do anything wrong. She often greets people with a formal but good natured air and holds relatively peaceful conversations when she can get away with it. Though she isn't one to back down from her opinions, she isn't one to blare them into people's ears either. Someone can have a difference of opinion, and she won't make it a habit to prove them wrong unless in their wrong, they insulted her or her friends.

Curious Yuu is very curious about the world around her, and she won't normally stop at just a 'oh' response. She is very inquisitive and likes to get to the bottom of things when she can. Life is like a complex series of codes that she wants to figure out for herself rather than learn from someone else. As an extension of this curious nature, she is very open to new things willing to try just about anything at least once. Over the years, this has made her rather dynamic knowledge wise, and she can say that she has done quite a lot of thing that many people haven't. She can be almost borderline fearless when trying something new. That being said, she can get into quite a lot of trouble at times due to such curiosity, but most of the time she gets out of it in some way.

Creative Able to construct and reconstruct things as needed, Yuu is very creative in a number of ways. She enjoys making different flower pieces and seems to have a knack for knowing what would look good with what. She's also rather artistic and can draw at least reasonably well when not rushed though she'll admit she was never as good as her mother was. She likes to dab her hands into writing and poetry but hasn't seemed to have gotten anything published just yet and seems skittish about even mentioning it to others. Though she would never admit it, most of her writing is heavily romantic and borderline cheesy. She dreams of a relationship that lives up to her fantasies but also seems to be a realist on such matters. Outside of this, Yuu is just creative in general. She likes to do things in new ways and doesn't mind too much if she breaks social norms.

Determined When Yuu sets her mind to something, she does it and goes all for it. She rarely backs down and rarely gives up until she physically or mentally cannot continue on whatever she has chosen. That being said, she can come off as rather hardheaded in some instances especially when her judgment is questioned. However, she at least has the conviction to finish whatever it is that she starts and thus won't give up without a fight.

Negatives:
Unforgiving Yuu is completely and totally unforgiving. While it takes a lot to piss her off, once someone has managed to hit enough of her buttons either by bothering or harming her friends, she will never forgive. Even among small things, she rarely forgets bad things and stores them in the back of her mind forever. Thus, she harbors quite a lot of hate and disdain for a considerable number of people. Though it's questionable as to whether she will ever act on er impulse and hate, she does sometimes fantasize how she will get back at someone and will sometimes find herself preparing to do it. Going beyond that, she is very unforgiving of herself and harbors a lot of self-hate for a variety of reasons including not living up to her parents expectations when they were still alive. She is very hard on herself and doesn't seem to forgive her own mistakes at all wherein if a person tries to reconcile she may forgive them.

Violent Though given what most people see, it seems almost impossible for Yuu to be violent, when she snaps, she snaps hard. These episodes are rare and far between, but once tension peeks, if she can't find a good outlet quickly, Yuu can become incredibly violent and just plain nasty. Surprisingly good at wielding a gun, she has the habit of shooting until she's out of bullets or until a body hits the floor once her temper has flared high enough. After a therapist suggested that she take out her anger and hate on something that wouldn't directly harm other people, Yuu started going to a shooting range wherein she honed a good deal of skill. That being said, the more Yamikitsune Kai became like her family, the more she wished to protect it and the more willing she was to destroy anyone who dared take them away from her. Her fear of losing became her will to destroy and has splintered a good deal of her personality in the process. Thus, though she would never lift a gun to any of them, she wouldn't hesitate to kill someone who harmed them especially if that someone happens to be a man above the age of twenty. In truth, this goes back to the days when her father abused her and her mother, and her mind has never gotten over the fact that she was utterly helpless against him and couldn't defend herself or her mother. Thus, as if to fix this past event in the present, she's rather vicious when allowed to let it all out.

Skeptical of others, Yuu likes to see things for herself. It isn't so much that she doesn't trust other people so much as the fact that she wants to see things with her own eyes rather than second hand. If she can't see something, she is at least mentally a little skeptical of other people. That being said, she will trust her friends a lot more than she would someone she'd just met. She also trusts those in Yamikitsune Kai with her life even if she only recently met them, yet just about everyone else is bound to receive some eyebrow raise at some point.

Liar A chronic habit that has creeped up in Yuu's personality over the years is lying. She doesn't exactly understand why she does it, and she is pretty aware that the truth would be better, but more often than not, she impulse lies. Whether it be about her feelings, about her history, or about her interests, she often shapes what she says to fit the situation she is in better. She doesn't go outrageous in her lies, and most of the time it's about what she's actually feeling, but the fact is that she does do it quite consistently.

Insecure Extending deeper past the lies, the root of them is her very insecure nature. Yuu feels compelled to make people like her and tends to be very unsure of what to do when they don't. That being said, she finds it easier to group with people, and if some outsider or something hates the group, that's fine. However, if someone directly hates her, she finds that her own self-hate surfaces and tends to make her visibly shaken. Though she hasn't cried in years, Yuu finds herself threatening to constantly. She wishes that she could open up to just one person, tell the whole truth, and be accepted, but she doubts that is even possible for herself if only because of all the lies she's made up till now.


Other:
Bisexual Though she leans a little more towards women for whatever reason, Yuu is pretty sure she is bisexual and also likes men. She's a deep romantic at heart and would love to do all the things that are seen in movies but is also a bit of a realist and is pretty sure that wouldn't actually happen.
