Izzy doesn’t affiliate with either gang but considering one of her best friends is in the Aoikazuchi Kai she tends to lean towards them a little more.
MODIFICATIONS:
Izzy was born with a life-threatening heart condition. At the age of two her mom flew to Japan to see if Izzy could get help. Eventually Izzy got the help she needed and as a result now has an almost fully mechanized heart.
Later, when Izzy was eighteen she got into a motorcycle accident when attempting to avoid a drunk driver that resulted in the loss of the bike (which she had built herself) and smashed her arm as a result. Knowing how long it would take to heal, Izzy went to Dr. Yamagoe, hoping that he might be able to help her. Money was no issue considering Izzy’s mother had married into a rather wealthy family in Japan and thus Izzy’s right arm is now fully mechanized. She has made a few other modifications to the arm since then including a fully functioning welder, flashlight, various tools, and a gun along with some other minor adjustments to make the arm as useful as she can.
PERSONALITY NOTES:Positives
Brave
Izzy isn’t afraid to stand up for what she believes in, especially if one of her friends is being bullied. Who cares if the guy is twice her size and has a weapon, she can hold her own in a fight just fine thank you very much. She hates being treated like a damsel in distress and will chastise anyone who even attempts to treat her as such. Izzy isn’t the type of girl who can simply walk past someone in obvious trouble and even though it may be foolish will step in and help where she can.
Playful
Izzy is the type of girl who’s always up for a party; she is very social and likes to have fun doing anything and everything. Life just isn’t that much fun unless you’re out there doing something and making the most out of life. Izzy is almost always out doing something or another that she considers fun most of which is dangerous at best. Anything from motorcycle riding to cliff jumping is fair game especially if she has someone to do said activities with. Izzy is a horrible tease and will take advantage of any given opportunity to do so just to see the person’s reaction.
Happy
Izzy is almost always seen with a smile on her face. She lives each day like it could be her last (because chances are it very well could be) and is determined that she won’t live to regret something. Very little seems to faze Izzy if anything at all, any new struggle or complication is met with a smile and a “Well, that’s life for ya” which seems to be her motto of sorts. Izzy handles stress remarkably well, even if she’s being yelled at the smile doesn’t fade from her face for a moment. As Izzy says, “Life’s too short to let the little things get you down.”
Hard Working
Izzy is happiest when she’s doing something with her hands. She is very hard working and never once complains if something is too difficult. To Izzy it’s just another challenge to overcome and not worth worrying about. It’s this way of thinking that makes her do her best at work or when she’s working in the car shop she owns. Izzy is very much a hands on learner and tends to work better when she can actually see the progress in whatever project she is currently working on. When she’s not hanging out with friends, working at the diner, or having fun Izzy can almost always be found in her shop working on her car (which she often refers to as ‘her baby’) or some other project simply to have something to do.
Calm
Izzy is rather calm most of the time and rarely gets angry or upset if at all. She takes everything in stride and mostly goes with the flow. Izzy is able to remain calm under pressure or stress and is less likely to panic. When placed in a stressful situation, Izzy tends to be more logical and thinks about how to get out of the situation rather than worry about how she got there to begin with. The only time that Izzy is unable to remain calm is when there are bats involved….for whatever reason she simply cannot be anywhere near bats.
Intelligent
Izzy is very smart and in fact built her own car from the ground up when she was twenty-years old. She has a photographic memory and is very good with charts, blueprints, and any other diagrams especially if machines are involved. Ever since Izzy first learned that a machine was keeping her alive, she has buried herself in books and the like to learn as much as she could about what makes machines and electronics tick. She graduated from high school early and by the age of eighteen had earned a diploma from a very prestigious college with a Masters in mechanical engineering. Proud of her accomplishment, her stepdad bought Izzy her very own car shop and named her the owner. Ever since Izzy has successfully kept the shop open and has quite a few regulars that frequent her shop.
Negatives
[/u]Two-faced
The happy upbeat girl that the world sees is actually a mask, Izzy’s true self is much more cold and cruel than what she shows the world. In reality Izzy is little more than a robot, having cut herself off from feeling any emotion after seeing her mother brutally murdered just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. At five-years old, the only way she could cope was by removing the problem that was causing her to be upset and making her stepdad sad as a result. Thus she has resolved to put on a happy face…quite literally and hide the pain and everything else behind it. There are very few times that Izzy shows her true nature and in fact will not do so unless either asked or placed in a situation that doesn’t call for her fake nature.
Apathetic
Though Izzy may put up a kind front, she actually couldn’t care less if others get hurt; being ‘kind’ is simply the best way to get what she wants from others. Izzy tends to think more logically and doesn’t understand why others can’t seem to do the same. In her mind it’s their own fault for getting themselves into this mess to begin with. If it weren’t for the kind, happy front she was putting up Izzy would simply just walk on by and not care if someone was getting hurt. Nevertheless Izzy knows she needs to maintain her kind persona front and thus does help those that she sees. Needless to say that Izzy never does anything for free as those who are on the receiving end of her so called ‘help’ quickly find out…she always asks for something in return, be it as simple as lunch out or a favor sometime in the future.
Obsessive
Whenever Izzy sets her mind to something she is determined to finish it no matter what. This being said if she is somehow pulled away from said project she has a rather odd quirk of not being able to focus on anything else but what she was working on. When it comes to her car, motorcycle, or any other project she may be working on at the time she can be rather obsessive and a little paranoid. So much so that her shop is armed with the latest and best security system that money can buy, not to mention the numerous traps that Izzy keeps armed at all times to keep someone from seeing her current project before completion or, heaven forbid, stealing something.
Cold
Whenever her mask does slip or if Izzy is placed in a serious situation she can be rather cruel. She does not like to deal with people she deems to be fools and makes her opinion on the matter very clear. Without the connection with her emotions Izzy has no qualms about seeing someone crying in front of her especially if she happened to cause it. Logically, Izzy doesn’t believe that emotions have any other use than to manipulate others into doing what you want, something she uses to her full advantage. Izzy is quite accomplished at getting other people to believe what she wants them to believe regardless of whatever harm it may do to them later. She will tell people how she sees things with little regard to what they may think or how they might react.
Impatient
Izzy is very impatient and wants things done now. If someone tells her to wait a second she will take it quite literally and wait the aforementioned second before asking yet again. The only time Izzy is what could be considered patient is when she is working on her latest project. Any other time, be it with friends or waiting in line somewhere, Izzy doesn’t like to sit still for very long and tends to be a little more curt when having to wait for a long time. Being on time is very important to Izzy, thus if anybody shows up to her shop (even if they have an appointment) even a minute late, she will refuse to see them. Waiting on others is one of her major pet peeves and Izzy makes it clear that if people don’t have the decency to arrive on time she won’t waste her own time in trying to assist them.
Workaholic
Izzy tends to get lost in her work and will often go days with very little sleep or food simply because she forgot. There are very few times that Izzy isn’t working and even when she isn’t she can often be found planning her next project. Izzy gets bored if she doesn’t have something to do and even when she’s not working on a project, always has something in her hands be it a deck of cards or one of her many portable game consoles simply to keep her hands busy.
Other:
Izzy makes her own high-powered weapons and uses her auto shop as a cover for this. She’ll make a custom weapon for either gang…if the price is right.
Izzy owns a silver Kaminari that she built basically from the ground up and is often referred to as 'her baby'.
