Speak, but don't pretend;; The albino glanced up towards the sky..
What a painful sight.
He felt that he couldn’t bear it. It was too bright for his blood colored eyes...
Looking straight in front of him, there was a path only feet adjacent of him which easily crossed his view. Beyond this grey old path was more than plenty of blooming Sakura. It was such a lovely day, and it would be a shame to spend it all inside marking tests. In fact, that sort of thing could wait on a day like this. He had the rest of the weekend, and it was only Friday, so why not enjoy the beauty for a little while?
A gentle breeze played with his snow white hair. He hadn’t bothered to move from where he was sitting on one of the wooden park benches. One of his feet was flat on the ground, while the other leg crossed over his knee. Meanwhile, one hand was resting comfortably on his lap, while the other was on the handle of the bench. The man was wearing a plain white T-shirt and black jeans... Definitely not attire anyone would expect a teacher to dress in...
Oh well~

Farther down the path from the man that was enjoying the weather, a somewhat thin woman clad in a somewhat long blue sweeping dress could be seen staring up at something in one of the various spring trees. From the back view of her- which was mostly what anyone saw as they passed, one could see just how short her hair was not even reaching to her shoulders in the back even with her head tuned up and her eyes directed towards the branches. That being said, the haircut itself wasn't distasteful, especially with her slender appearance, though it did cause somewhat of a contradiction with the dress she happened to be wearing.
If one actually knew the girl standing there staring up in to the trees, they wouldn't be so much confused by what she was staring at so much as what she happened to be wearing. It was somewhat rare for Yuu to actually wear dresses, and now the question posed was why she happened to be wearing one today. Was she waiting for someone to come? Had she purposefully dressed up to look nice for some event? The actual answer to both was no, in fact. She hadn't dressed up for any other reason than to do so. She'd been feeling more peppy than usual this morning and decided to go out a little more than usual- which had actually surprised a good deal of her customers earlier in the day which only drew a laugh out of her each time a reaction was made.
Really though, it wasn't rare for Yuu to be outdoors, and when off of her regular work and when not training with her grandfather, she was more likely to be outside than not. That day was no exception to the rule. Once her work for the day had been done, she closed up her small shop and had headed out to the park. The question of why actually had somewhat of an interesting answer to it, though. She had come out on a mission of sorts, and this had led her to the trees in the first place.
She was checking them.
As surprising as it was upon first explanation, it actually suited Yuu to do so. She was a botanist first and foremost- even with her side work somewhat melding with psychology, and after the recent rain they had had, she found herself worried that some of the older trees might have started to either fall apart or that bugs might have taken into them with the softening of the bark. True, it wasn't necessarily her job to do that, but as a science major she felt the compulsion to.
As the air moved past her suddenly, Yuu stopped and looked downwards again. Bringing an arm to her other arm, the young woman fidgeted a little rethinking the fact that she had actually gone out dressed in a way that was just begging to make her cold. Shaking her head, she sighed a little before turning and starting to walk down the paved path to follow it to the next set of trees.
When suddenly! Trip. Unluckily for her, heels and wind didn't quite make a good combination, and though she would have probably been able to catch herself on a regular day, this was turning out to not be such a regular day.

Speak, but don't pretend;; The albino man, Hideyoshi closed his eyes as the wind continued to sweep by for a little longer. This sort of weather always felt so nice, yet the lack of pigment in his eyes made it a little difficult to tolerate the sun shining the way it was. Too bad there weren’t any clouds blocking it... Although, then it wouldn’t be such a nice day out, would it? Of course, he had considered visual therapy and surgery, but those options seemed a little too extreme to take with such an awkward discomfort to light... So, for now he would just deal with it by doing various things whenever he could. Those things could include wearing sunglasses, maybe a hat? Turning some of the classroom lights off while he was teaching... That always seemed to bother his students who had yet to understand, but he was sure they’d catch on.. It was just the beginning of a new school year, after all, so they were just getting to know each other..
Not far down the path.. Not far at all, an awkward little skid, and then a thud could be heard. It wasn’t too startling since it didn’t shake the earth or echo, but it definitely caught Hideyoshi’s attention. Anyone who knew him would understand that he was a curious man, and so his eyes opened to look at the source of the sound without any sort of hesitation.
Oh..
It was a young woman who had probably just tripped over herself...
She was wearing a lengthy blue dress and heels. Hideyoshi lacked the capability to see her eyes from the angle he was at, but he could clearly see that her figure was slender and her hair was shorter than his despite his own only falling down to about his neck. As strange as this may sound, the sight of her had intrigued him quite a bit. Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t necessarily creepy, he was just... Well, yeah, maybe a little, but who isn’t? Honestly?
It didn’t take him long to uncross his legs and get off the bench. He walked down the paved path for only a few moments, that is, until he was standing right in front of her. The albino looked down at her, and bent over ever so slightly. ”Are you having fun down there?” His tone was quite gentle, maybe even playful. Despite the actual dialogue to what he said, he only wished to see if she was okay, or if she needed help up... Or if she broke her face and needed an ambulance...
Tags; Yukimura-san Notes; I did some research-- school starts in April in Japan, so since we're RPing in late spring/early summer, I thought it'd be safe to say he has a fairly new class <3 Oh, and: "Talk talk talk" "Think think think" ^^

Mentally smacking herself repeatedly for not looking where she was going and wearing heels to begin with, Yuu groaned a little before forcing herself up into a sitting position at least and brushing down and smooth out out her dress. Ugh what possessed me to wear heels...seriously I couldn't even walk in them in high school... Yuu mentally kicked herself again despite the fact that she already knew why she tried to wear them regardless. Despite all the problems they may or may not have caused her in the past, heels were cute, and her quiet love of cute things persisted ever still.
Most likely because she was too lost in her own self frustration, Yuu didn't even realize that someone had walked up to her until she caught the sound of a voice. Blinking and looking up to find a man staring at her. Suddenly growing red with embarrassment that someone had possibly seen her trip - and even if he hadn't he probably assumed what had happened-, Yuu rather quickly forced herself up despite the slight shake of her heels that came with trying to balance on such shoes. "Less fun than a child would, probably," she replied her tone coming off as more honest than irritated, thankfully. Even when a little less happy than suitable, Yuu wasn't one to throw it on to people. That wasn't their problem, after all, and she could handle it and be pleasant - or at least she kept telling herself she could.
After a few more seconds, the color on her cheeks faded, though that slight worry that she was about to be made fun of for tripping was beginning to seed itself into the back of her mind. Reaching up habitually and brushing a few strands of hair behind her ear if only to try and soothe herself, Yuu forced a calm smile onto her features as best she could.

Speak, but don't pretend;; Hideyoshi watched the young woman slowly bring herself up right to at least sit. She was probably still gathering her bearings, which was definitely understandable after a trip like that... Well, maybe he hadn’t seen it for himself, but he had definitely heard it from the bench and by the sounds of it, it was probably rather unpleasant. It wouldn’t be long before Hideyoshi would speak to the woman who would then go about pulling herself back up to her feet which would cause him to straighten from his slightly bent posture. Was she hurt at all? If she was, than her determination to get back up was actually rather admirable... Or, maybe she was just scared? Startled? Embarrassed? ...Flabbergasted? Or maybe she just didn’t enjoy sitting on the pavement?
Her reply served to amuse Hideyoshi quite a bit. Less fun than a child... That seemed so true... Yet, did all children enjoy playing on the ground from time to time? It didn’t really matter because in either case, she had managed to put a gentle smile on his face. ”...So, you’re all right?” He asked, wishing to make sure. Maybe this wasn’t any of his business, but he had hoped she didn’t mind—he wasn’t trying to make her feel bad about it, he was just... well, I suppose you could call it some sort of instinct. Being a teacher for the past few years now has definitely made him a little more sensitive towards people who fall flat on their face..
Of course, there was a part deep, deep, deep inside of Hideyoshi that was laughing maniacally at the situation, and others similar to it which happened a long time ago, but, could that really be helped?
It wouldn’t be long before he would notice how close he was currently standing by the woman who had tripped. Was he in her personal space? He hadn’t particularly noticed until now, and he had no intentions of making her.. or even, himself feel uncomfortable; so he had taken a shy half-step backwards before looking back towards her for some sort of reply~

The question that followed from the man met a rather quick nod. Though she was a little too aware of the fact that both her legs were a little more shaky than before, and though she was also aware that she'd probably managed to at least twist her ankle, Yuu was a little too proud to admit either of the injuries. She accumulated various types of nicks and scrapes from training anyways, so she'd be alright- or at least that was her reasoning behind not saying that she wasn't fine. Truth be told, somewhere in her subconscious the will not not appear weak to anyone- especially a man- was what really drove this point when it came down to it, and somewhere just above that Yuu recognized this trait in herself. However, she would never admit it and was prone to projection instead.
"Yes, I'm alright, thank you," she replied quietly after her head motion as though the nod had not been enough to say such. Once more out of habit, fingers met hair, and Yuu pushed away another few strands from her face. Among other things the gesture was supposed to be, she found it a nervous habit. She still wasn't sure if the man had actually seen the fall or not, and something about sight versus simply knowing put her more on edge. As the man stepped back, Yuu blinked a moment. "Ah...sorry...right...my name's Yukimura Yuu," she said suddenly feeling the need to be formal. A quick little bow of sorts was made rather precariously on those heels again before Yuu looked up again and smiled a bit. [OOC: It's fine :3]
